Libya returns to the UN Human Rights Council

The UN General Assembly voted on Friday to end  Libya’s suspension from the UN Human Rights Council. Chavez & Co. opposed the move,  in a post-mortem show of solidarity with brother Col. Qaddafi.  See vote below.

The draft resolution on Implementation of United Nations resolutions (document A/66/L.9) was adopted by a recorded vote of 123 in favour to 4 against, with 6 abstentions, as follows:
