GENEVA, Dec. 27 – As reported exclusively by UN Watch, the U.N. General Assembly just finished adopting a total of 22 resolutions singling out Israel for criticism in one form or another — and 4 resolutions for the rest of the world combined. See draft texts below.

The four are: one on Syria, a regime that has murdered 40,000 of its own people, and one each on Iran, North Korea and Burma, whose government was largely praised in the U.N. text.

There were zero UNGA resolutions on China, Cuba, Belarus, Zimbabwe, Russia, Sudan, Venezuela, or Pakistan — nor on dozens more of the world’s worst abusers.

  • so based on this i guess its fair to say the world hates Israel. what else is new…how can Israel be a light onto the nations while it has so many enemies all over the world. how can Israel succeed while the world is so biased against it?

  • The world has no right to hate Israel. Most of the borders between nations as they are now are as a result of wars, human blood shed, tears and not because nations decided to exchange flowers over the borders that we finally decided over fun and enjoyment parties. This vote result is noting more than a Middle East Oil game.

  • While, undoubtedly, the United Nations has an important purpose for existing, it is fast making itself irrelevant by being so one sided in all its rulings. To a majority of member states, the truth is less important than whether a group of nations, made powerful by the oil it controls, pushes for a certain outcome. Until most countries of the world are energy independent, this subservience to a culture of hate and ignorance will continue.

  • To David Kiachko: “..fast making itself irrelevant”? That ship sailed long ago.

  • I believe that all people of conscience should demand that the UN be disbanded. It is clear that it has become no more than a den of thieves, liars and thugs, where slavers and terrorists have more authority than honest men. When the world puts power in the hands of these petty dictators, who treat their own people so ruthlessly, they can expect only treachery, deceit and anarchy.
